According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 25th, 78 people tested positive in Gwangju in one day and were classified as Gwangju 7485 to 7562.
Four additional cases were confirmed among those quarantined in a nursing hospital in Buk-gu where a cluster infection occurred, and one case each was confirmed at a middle school in Buk-gu and a welfare facility in Nam-gu.
At a daycare center in Nam-gu, one child was initially confirmed positive the previous day, prompting health authorities to conduct a full investigation of 25 people, including 18 children and 7 staff members, with 6 additional infections confirmed that day. Subsequently, two family members of the infected child were infected in a chain, bringing the total confirmed cases to 9 so far.
At a kindergarten in Gwangsan-gu, one child was confirmed positive the previous day, leading to a full investigation of about 200 people, with 15 additional infections including 8 children and 7 acquaintances and family members. The cumulative total is 16.
Regarding a bathhouse in Nam-gu, one confirmed case from Jeonnam recently visited the bathhouse, and seven users who overlapped in movement were confirmed positive that day. The cumulative confirmed cases total 12.
Two people who entered from Poland and Vietnam respectively were also confirmed positive.
