New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul Reach 1,276 by 6 PM

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul was provisionally counted at 1,276 from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 28th.
This is the same as the previous day during the same time period and 8 more than 1,268 cases reported a week ago (on the 17th).
The daily confirmed cases in Seoul decreased after reaching a record high of 3,166 on the 14th of this month, with 2,805 on the 21st, 2,720 on the 22nd, and 2,346 on the 23rd.

As of 6 p.m. on the day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was provisionally counted at 214,390. The final count will be compiled as of midnight on the 29th and announced in the morning.
