[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Jeollanam-do Gurye-gun (Governor Kim Sun-ho) signed a business agreement on the 23rd with the Jeonnam Tourism Foundation to strengthen cooperation in tourism policy.

With the increasing demand for non-face-to-face tourism services in the With-Corona era and the need to transition the tourism industry to a smart tourism system, Gurye-gun and the Foundation have agreed to strengthen a comprehensive cooperative system to create a smart tourism city and enhance cooperation in tourism policy.

The main agreement items include ▲win-win cooperation to create a smart tourism city and support tourism content development ▲policy sharing and cooperation enhancement to secure the execution power of tourism policies ▲education and data sharing for tourism product development ▲and other matters related to joint cooperation between Gurye-gun and the Foundation.

In particular, through this agreement, it is expected to provide a new breakthrough for the local tourism industry, which has been stagnant after the post-Corona period, by preparing measures to create a smart tourism ecosystem in line with the increasing trend of digitalization in the tourism industry.

Governor Kim Sun-ho said, “In preparation for the With-Corona era, I hope to develop smart tourism content unique to Gurye and to rise as a representative tourist destination of Jeonnam.”
