On this day, working-level staff from three senior customized care project executing organizations and city officials gathered to discuss the 2021 project performance and 2022 project plans, aiming to promote more substantial project operations.
The meeting proceeded with requests for thorough winter vulnerable senior protection measures and quarantine management, as well as guidance on project changes (expanded support for activity allowances for executing personnel).
The winter vulnerable senior protection measures plan to conduct preliminary investigations on vulnerable groups during winter through organic cooperation with executing organizations to more efficiently ensure the safety of the elderly.
Kim Moon-hoon, head of the Senior and Disabled Division, said the Working Council serves as a communication platform with executing organizations, and through information sharing and consultation among institutions, it will raise the capabilities of city executing organizations, laying the foundation for providing better Senior Customized Care Services in Namwon City than yesterday.
The Senior Customized Care Service is a project that provides appropriate care services to vulnerable seniors who have difficulty maintaining daily life.
The city will expand the service next year to 2,912 seniors, an increase of 84 from this year.
