According to the Foundation for Large and Small Business and Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation on the 23rd, it was announced that approximately 290.9 billion KRW worth of product purchases have been made from 307 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by 38 public institutions through negotiated contracts.
The Performance Sharing System is a representative project for mutual growth through win-win cooperation among large corporations, public institutions, and SMEs. It creates results through joint innovative activities such as new technology development and cost reduction between consigned and consigning companies, and shares these results in a pre-agreed manner.
In particular, public institutions that have introduced the Performance Sharing System carry out tasks in mutual cooperation with SMEs, and when successful results are derived, they provide incentives by issuing a 'Certificate for Negotiated Contract' so that they can conclude negotiated contracts with the respective SMEs.
Public institutions carrying out performance sharing tasks actively support the expansion of sales channels for SMEs. So far, through negotiated contracts, 38 public institutions have purchased products worth 290.9 billion KRW from 307 SMEs.
Korea Gas Technology Corporation succeeded in developing a mobile nitrogen supply system product through the performance sharing task of 'Advancement of Gas Replacement Membrane Type Mobile Nitrogen Supply System for Hydrogen Charging Station Infrastructure Improvement' with Airlane, and signed a negotiated contract worth about 400 million KRW.
The mobile nitrogen supply system is a system that separates nitrogen from the atmosphere and can be used for gas facility purging and moisture removal. The two companies announced that by utilizing the improved nitrogen supply system, they solved the nozzle icing problem that occurs during hydrogen charging, and plan to apply it to 50% (155 stations) of the government's target of building 310 hydrogen charging stations, expanding to 1,200 stations by 2040.
Incheon Seo-gu Facilities Management Corporation developed a 'carbon-reducing eco-friendly volume-based waste bag' that reduces carbon emissions by 14% compared to existing volume-based waste bags in collaboration with Ecomass. Unlike existing volume-based waste bags that only contain biodegradable and recycled materials, the developed waste bag contains more than 20% carbon-reducing biomass made from molasses, a byproduct left after refining sugar from sugarcane.
Through performance sharing negotiated contracts, Ecomass, which recorded sales of about 50 million KRW, is expanding supply to 10 autonomous districts in Incheon and aims for sales of 1 billion KRW by 2024.
The Cooperation Foundation plans to actively discover performance sharing tasks in the public sector to establish a foundation for promoting carbon neutrality, such as greenhouse gas reduction and the spread of low-carbon energy.
