According to Seoul City on the 22nd, the number of confirmed cases as of 6 p.m. (1,442) marked the highest ever recorded for that time frame. This is 36 more than the previous record of 1,406 cases at 6 p.m. the day before.
One week earlier, on the 15th at 6 p.m., the number of confirmed cases was 1,375, which is 67 fewer than the current figure. The daily confirmed cases were 2,805 on the 21st and 3,057 on the 15th.

The daily confirmed cases in Seoul first reached the 3,000 mark and set a record high at 3,166 on the 14th. The 3,000 range continued on the 15th, then dropped to the 2,000 range from the 16th to the 18th, before rising again to the high 2,000s on the 21st.
