[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced on the 22nd that it signed a business agreement with Gaion, which provides AI-based trade big data analysis information, at the Trade Tower in Samseong-dong, Seoul, to provide platform services supporting the discovery of overseas buyers.
Through this agreement, KITA will receive 120 Gaion 'Witrade' accounts (worth approximately 400 million KRW annually) that allow access to customs transaction information from three countries: the United States, Russia, and India.
KITA's Member Services Headquarters, 12 domestic branches, and export field advisory committee members will utilize the provided accounts to assist export startups lacking overseas marketing capabilities in discovering buyers in importing markets of trading countries.
KITA plans to conduct training on the use of Gaion and Witrade, and promote linked marketing and online/offline consultation events in cooperation with its B2B online brokerage platform TradeKorea and overseas direct sales platform Kmall24.
