Chamdahan Hongsam's 'Compound K K Stick' Second Batch Also Sold Out
The fermented red ginseng product "Compound K Stick" from the red ginseng brand "Chamdahan Hong Sam" has consistently attracted consumer interest and has sold out completely through its second production batch.
The Compound K Stick features a double fermentation process using microorganisms and enzymes to convert ginsenosides (saponins), the key nutrients in red ginseng, into the final decomposed form called Compound K, enhancing absorption in the body compared to regular red ginseng. According to the manufacturer, absorption rates are up to 23 times higher and absorption speed up to 4 times faster than non-fermented ginseng concentrate.
It also contains ultra-fine red ginseng powder made by grinding whole red ginseng. This includes various fat-soluble components that do not dissolve in water as well as nutrients from red ginseng residue (red ginseng pulp). Notably, the red ginseng is ground into ultra-fine particles of 7?8 μm, smaller than plant cells, extracting nutrients trapped inside the plant cell walls.
