Hyundai Engineering & Construction Wins Ansan Gojan Yeonrip 3 District Contract... Urban Renewal Surpasses 4.5 Trillion Won
A total of 1026 units in 7 buildings from 3 basement floors to 38 above ground, worth 261.6 billion KRW
Breaking last year's record for the highest performance and approaching the 5 trillion KRW club
Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 22nd that it secured the construction rights for the Ansan Gojan Yeonrip 3 District reconstruction project, achieving a cumulative order amount of 4.5199 trillion KRW in urban renewal projects this year.
According to industry sources on the day, the Ansan Gojan Yeonrip 3 District Housing Reconstruction Maintenance Project Association held an extraordinary general meeting on the 21st and conducted a vote among association members to select the construction company. As a result, Hyundai Engineering & Construction was chosen as the final contractor with 502 votes out of 765 total votes (a 65.6% approval rate).
The Ansan Gojan Yeonrip 3 District reconstruction project targets an area of 47,417.7㎡ located at 229 Inhyeon Jungang-gil, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do (Gojan-dong 665-1). The project applies a building coverage ratio of 13.93% and a floor area ratio of 249.99%, constructing seven apartment buildings with three basement levels and 38 floors above ground, totaling 1,026 households, along with associated welfare facilities.
Gojan Yeonrip 3 District is within walking distance of Gojan Station, a transfer station for Subway Line 4 and the Suin-Bundang Line. It is also close to major convenience facilities such as Ansan City Hall, the Arts Center, Wastadium, and Korea University Ansan Hospital. Additionally, it is adjacent to Hwarang Amusement Park, Wongojan Park, and Hwarang Auto Camping Site, and students can walk to Danwon Middle School and Danwon High School.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to apply its top apartment brand, Hillstate, to Gojan Yeonrip 3 District and proposed the complex name "HILLSTATE LACIELO," combining the French definite article "La" with the Italian word "Cielo," meaning "sky." Notably, they will create a high-end sky community stretching 100 meters and plan a large gatehouse 60 meters long to elevate the complex’s stature with an overwhelming scale.
Compared to the association’s original plan of 13 main buildings, Hyundai Engineering & Construction reduced the number of buildings to seven and maximized the spacing between them to create a large central plaza of 9,500 pyeong (approximately two soccer fields) at the center of the complex. They also plan to double the proportion of medium to large-sized units compared to the association’s plan, which mainly consisted of small-sized units, thereby increasing the complex’s value.
Furthermore, the project secures 100% views of Hwarang Amusement Park and Wongojan Park for all units and offers 100% cross-ventilation and 100% 4-bay+α layouts. Through unit plan specialization, it provides a spacious service area of 11.4 pyeong per household, creating a comfortable indoor environment to maximize residential satisfaction and proposing a premium complex.
Meanwhile, Yoon Young-jun, President of Hyundai Engineering & Construction, personally visited the site during the bidding process to encourage employees, emphasizing transparent and honest clean bidding, and urged them to show sincerity to the association members until the end. This was the first time President Yoon visited a bidding site since his appointment as CEO in March.
