Where Are the 'Suwon Matjip' Recommended by Foreigners?
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] A 'Suwon Restaurant Map' recommended by foreigners has been released.
The Suwon International Exchange Center announced on the 22nd that it conducted a survey targeting foreigners residing in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, and created a 'Suwon Restaurant Map Recommended by Foreigners,' which has been posted on the Suwon International Exchange Center website.
Earlier, the city conducted a survey last month with 127 foreigners under the theme "What do you think are the best restaurants in Suwon?"
When you visit the website to find the restaurant map and click on the restaurant icons, the restaurant names and addresses appear. At the bottom of the map, the reasons for recommending each restaurant are also written. The main menus include a variety of dishes such as Haejang-guk, Milmyeon, Chicken Kebab, Cheese Steak, Kalguksu, and Daegu Wang Poljjim. It also includes foreign cuisine specialty restaurants that are not well known to locals.
A foreigner who recommended a Haejang-guk restaurant in Jangan-gu stated, "It is the most delicious Gamjatang restaurant I know," as the reason for the recommendation. Another foreigner who recommended a Milmyeon and Pork Soup restaurant in Yeongtong-gu praised, "The pork soup and milmyeon are so delicious that there is no need to go to Busan anymore."
