Shopping Service 2.0 places the selection of delivery time, which customers consider most important, on the main screen. Customers can choose from reservation-based same-day delivery, immediate delivery within 2 hours after ordering, or dawn delivery, depending on the types of delivery services available based on the delivery address and the expected arrival time. The flow has also been organized so that customers can directly move to stores where products eligible for the selected delivery service can be added to their cart.
A survey of about 300 customers who purchase groceries both online and offline by Lotte ON showed that same-day delivery (38%) and delivery at the desired time (32%) were the most preferred services.
With immediate delivery now displayed on the shopping screen, Lotte ON expects the number of immediate delivery orders to increase. Lotte ON plans to expand the number of Lotte Mart smart stores from the current six to nine by early next year and deploy specialized online personnel and dedicated vehicles to enable immediate delivery services at regular Lotte Mart stores as well.

A Lotte ON official said, "We are launching Shopping Service 2.0 to provide a more convenient shopping environment from the customer's perspective," adding, "Along with the upgrade of the shopping service, we plan to rapidly increase our market share in the online grocery shopping market based on delivery services utilizing offline stores."
