Ministry of Education Announces Results of the 2nd Safe Personal Information Protection Case Contest
A Total of 13 Works Selected as Award Winners
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Ministry of Education and the Korea Education and Research Information Service announced the results of the '2nd Safe Personal Information Protection Case Contest' and will hold an online awards ceremony on the 22nd.
The Safe Personal Information Protection Case Contest has been held since 2020 to discover cases and ideas for personal information protection. This year's contest theme was 'Protecting Personal Information in Daily Life by Yourself,' and 118 entries of videos, posters, and slogans were submitted.
The Ministry of Education selected a total of 13 winning works through the first and second rounds of judging by a panel of information security experts. The grand prize winner will receive the Minister of Education Award, while the excellence and encouragement award winners will receive the Korea Education and Research Information Service Director's Award.
The grand prize (video) was awarded to the Durejayeon Middle School team for their video illustrating cases of personal information infringement through the internet and advertising and methods to prevent personal information leakage.

The winning works can be viewed in the resource room on the Ministry of Education's Personal Information Protection Portal and will be used for educational materials and promotional content to improve awareness of personal information protection in the education sector.
