Truston Asset Management Builds Metaverse Virtual Office
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Truston Asset Management announced on the 21st that it has opened a virtual office utilizing the metaverse, which has emerged as the biggest theme in the stock market. This is the first case in the industry of building a metaverse virtual office for work purposes.
Truston Asset Management built its entire Truston Seongsu-dong building on the metaverse platform 'Gather.town'. This virtual office is not for a one-time event but operates continuously, and it plans to actively use it for various internal events as well as external tasks such as press conferences and corporate briefings in the future.
The Truston metaverse office is characterized by faithfully reproducing real spaces such as the exterior of the Truston building, the first-floor lobby, offices, and conference halls. The idea is to supplement the difficulty of face-to-face contact among employees due to social distancing caused by COVID-19 with face-to-face contact in the virtual space of the metaverse office.
