Emart24 to Raise Convenience Store Parcel Fees by 300 Won Starting Next Month
Emart24 will raise the convenience store parcel delivery fee from 3,500 won to 3,800 won starting next month.

On the 21st, an Emart24 official stated, "The price increase was made at the request of the courier company." Currently, Emart24 operates parcel delivery services in partnership with Hanjin Courier.
Emart24 has been charging a flat rate of 3,500 won for convenience store parcels weighing up to 20kg and with the sum of the three dimensions under 160cm, but starting January next year, the fee will increase by 300 won. Additionally, an extra surcharge of 3,000 won applies to the Jeju region, and 5,000 won to island areas.

Earlier in June, CU and GS25 also raised their convenience store parcel delivery fees. CU increased fees by 300 to 800 won depending on weight, while GS25 raised fees by 300 to 1,000 won.
