"IoT-based Golf Course Turf Management" KT Develops Smart Green Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 21st that it has developed the 'Smart Green' service to manage golf course turf growth in collaboration with golf course management company Jongsin Mulsan. The two companies supplied this service to Jungwon Golf Club (Jungwon GC) located in Chungju, Chungbuk.
Smart Green is a turf growth management platform service that automatically analyzes the condition of golf course turf and enables timely and precise application of fertilizers and pesticides.
IoT (Internet of Things) sensors embedded in the soil measure turf temperature, moisture content, acidity, and other factors. This information is transmitted to a platform applying algorithms for turf condition analysis.
