On the 21st, LG Uplus announced that it had donated 20 million KRW collected through the 'PASS Application Donation Program' to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation on the 20th. The donation will be used to improve the living conditions of children from low-income families.
The donation program, which started last month, is a social contribution activity where LG Uplus mobile users accumulate 10 KRW per QR check-in using the PASS app. The program achieved 2 million check-ins within just three weeks.
The Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, which received the donation, plans to carry out insulation work, replace old windows, install eco-friendly boilers, and repair exterior walls and roofs to improve children’s living environments.
LG Uplus also announced plans to deliver pop-up books created by its employees to children from underprivileged groups through the foundation.
