[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Comprehensive paper company Kkaekkeutan Nara announced on the 21st that it conducted a relay blood donation campaign to help overcome the blood supply crisis caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic as the year-end approaches.
This campaign was planned as part of ESG management efforts under the slogan "Healthy and Clean World," aiming to lead the stabilization of blood supply and the promotion of blood donation culture. It is the third employee participation blood donation campaign following those held in March and July.
The blood donation campaign was conducted in a relay format, starting from the Chungbuk Eumseong plant on the 15th, followed by the Chungbuk Cheongju plant on the 20th, and the headquarters located in Yongsan-gu. Strict hygiene rules such as fever checks, mask-wearing, and hand sanitization were thoroughly observed, and blood donations were carried out by dispersing participants by time slots.
A total of 154 Kkaekkeutan Nara employees participated in the blood donation campaigns throughout the year, and sustainable blood donation campaigns will continue to be implemented in the future.
