1030 Seoul COVID-19 Cases Confirmed by 6 PM... 323 More Than Yesterday

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 20th, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 1,030 over an 18-hour period.
This is an increase of 323 cases compared to 707 cases during the same time frame on the previous day (19th), and 167 more than 863 cases reported a week earlier on the 13th. The total daily confirmed cases were 1,908 on the 19th and 2,062 on the 13th.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul surpassed 2,000 for the first time on the 30th of last month (2,222 cases), then reached a record high of 3,166 cases on the 14th of this month, marking the first time over 3,000 cases were reported. The 3,000-level continued on the 15th, but cases decreased to the 2,000-level from the 16th to the 18th, and further dropped to the 1,000-level on the 19th.
