Jeju Fire Station Holds Meeting to Promote Safe Traditional Markets
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 19th that it held a fire prevention meeting by visiting Seomun Public Market, a traditional market in the jurisdiction, ahead of the winter season when fire risks increase.
At the meeting, representatives from the Fire Department, Jeju City Hall, and the Merchants' Association attended to discuss measures to strengthen safety management in traditional markets.
Chief Ko stated, “We shared various difficulties through the meeting with traditional market stakeholders.” He added, “Since the traditional market is designated and managed as a fire caution zone, we will strive even more diligently to ensure safety management.”
