Fire at Cheongnyangni Agricultural and Marine Products Market... 13 Stores Burned
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] A fire broke out at the Cheongnyangni Agricultural and Marine Products Market in Jegi-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, at around 12:26 a.m. on the 19th and was extinguished after more than six hours.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, but 13 stores were burned, and three nearby houses were also damaged. Two people who were nearby evacuated on their own.
The fire department deployed 51 vehicles and 163 personnel, completed initial firefighting at around 4:12 a.m., and fully extinguished the fire at 6:34 a.m., 6 hours and 8 minutes later.
