SSG.com Launches 'Green Campaign'... "Giving Away PET Bottle Label Removers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] SSG.com announced on the 19th that it will conduct a 'Green Campaign' from the 20th to the 22nd and will give away a 'PET Bottle Label Remover' made by recycling vinyl used for dawn delivery.
The item will be sent on a first-come, first-served basis to customers who order more than 40,000 won from SSG.com’s dawn delivery starting at 9 a.m. daily, and the campaign will end when the prepared quantity is exhausted.
Since August, SSG.com has started a 'Green Project' in collaboration with the global recycling consulting company TerraCycle, collecting vinyl for dawn delivery and dry ice nonwoven fabric. Through this project, more than 10 tons of packaging materials were collected over three months. TerraCycle recycled these into raw materials and produced PET bottle label removers shaped like SSG.com’s delivery vehicle, 'Ssukka.' In the future, they plan to produce various types of goods through resource circulation activities and give them to customers.
