LG Strengthens Work-from-Home Ratio for Affiliates Back to Over 50%
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] LG Group has decided to expand the work-from-home ratio across all its affiliates from 40% to over 50% starting from the 18th, in line with the government's intensified 'social distancing' policy.
On the 17th, LG announced internal quarantine guidelines containing these measures to all its affiliates. Along with increasing the work-from-home ratio, the number of attendees at meetings will be reduced again from the previous 20 to 10 or fewer, and non-face-to-face meetings will be encouraged. Additionally, gatherings and events that allowed up to 20 attendees only for fully vaccinated individuals will be discouraged as much as possible, with a preference for non-face-to-face formats.
Furthermore, company dinners will be limited to 4 people or fewer, external visitors will be discouraged, indoor sports facilities such as the company gym will be closed, and the company cafes will only allow takeout.
