'K-Musical and Robot Encounter' Doosan Robotics-Meta Theater Sign Technology MOU

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Doosan Robotics and MetaTheater Co., Ltd., the operator of the global platform specializing in performances, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to qualitatively enhance real-time online live streaming services of musical performances and to introduce advanced technologies.
According to Doosan on the 17th, Doosan Robotics and MetaTheater Co., Ltd. held an MOU signing ceremony the day before at Uniplex in Daehak-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, for the "Activation of Camera Robot Solutions and Automation System for On-Offline Musical Production." Through this business agreement, MetaTheater Co., Ltd. will integrate the camera robot solution independently developed by Doosan Robotics into the real-time live streaming service of K-musicals, hold priority consultation rights regarding the design and use of specialized filming robot programs, and actively exchange information and materials related to the integration of new technologies.
Earlier, the two companies first introduced the collaborative robot 'H2017' on stage in the original musical "Song of the Sun," which opened in May, challenging real-time global streaming of K-musicals and reaching over 80,000 viewers in 154 countries worldwide. Going forward, MetaTheater Co., Ltd. plans to introduce Doosan Robotics' new camera robot NINA, which won the "2022 CES Innovation Award," to present upgraded video and streaming services.
