Gwangju and Jeonnam Ascon Industry Join Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Lim Kyung-jun, Chairman of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Ascon Industrial Cooperative, donated a total of 20 million KRW as a donation for the 'Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign Neighbor Helping' to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea and the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea on the 16th.
Chairman Lim said while delivering the donation, "I am glad to be able to contribute to delivering warm kindness during the cold year-end," and added, "We will actively participate in community sharing and become a cooperative that fulfills social responsibility."
The cooperative was established in 1997 by companies manufacturing Ascon (Asphalt Concrete), a major material for construction work, to promote sound growth and development, protect rights and interests, and improve quality to foster balanced development of the national economy. Every year, it donates funds to organizations such as the Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation and the Community Chest of Korea to support underprivileged groups in the region.
