Gapyeong Medical Foundation Donates 60 Million Won to Social Welfare Facilities
Foundation Chairman Kim Su-young Donates 30 Million Won Each
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 16th that the Gapyeong Medical Foundation (Chairman Kim Sooyoung) donated a total of 60 million KRW, including 30 million KRW for supporting social welfare facilities and 30 million KRW as a personal donation from Chairman Kim Sooyoung.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Kim Sooyoung, Chairman of the Gapyeong Medical Foundation, and Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
Chairman Kim Sooyoung of the Gapyeong Medical Foundation has always been interested in the development of local community healthcare and welfare and has communicated with the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea regarding welfare projects.
Chairman Kim stated, “The Gapyeong Medical Foundation will join in promoting the health and welfare of the residents of Gwangju,” and added, “I hope that social welfare organizations dedicated to the development of community welfare and neighbors in need within the Gwangju area will overcome the cold winter well.”
Meanwhile, during the campaign period, participation can be made through ▲donations via KBS, MBC, and KBC broadcasting stations ▲donation delivery through the social welfare departments of Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall and five district offices ▲donation delivery through community service centers and local community security councils ▲membership in the Honor Society (individual high-value donor club) ▲joining Good Stores and Good Workplaces for regular donations by workplaces ▲ARS phone donations ▲QR code and simple payment ▲designated donations and in-kind donations.
Additionally, sharing can be participated in through online fundraising on the Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae website, and donation consultations can be made by contacting the fundraising business team at the Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae Secretariat.
