View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Professor Koo Sung-wook of the Department of Neurosurgery at Yonsei University College of Medicine has been appointed as the president of the Korean Society for Medical Device Clinical Trials for the upcoming year.
The Korean Society for Medical Device Clinical Trials recently announced on the 16th that Professor Koo was appointed as the 2022 president during the 'Korean Society for Medical Device Clinical Trials 2021 Academic Conference,' held simultaneously online and offline at the Courtyard Marriott Namdaemun Hotel in Seoul.
Professor Koo currently serves as the Director of the Yonsei Innovation Medical Device Demonstration Support Center, the head professor of the Graduate School of Medical Device Industry at Yonsei University College of Medicine, and the Director of External Cooperation at Yonsei Medical Center.
Since its establishment in 2009, the Korean Society for Medical Device Clinical Trials has been responsible for ▲organizing domestic and international academic and research activities through study groups ▲conducting surveys, research, education, and promotion related to clinical trials ▲building and operating cooperative systems and information networks among institutions involved in clinical trials.
