On the 14th, Seongjanghyun, Mayor of Yongsan District, attended the opening ceremony of the 18th Yongsan International Art Festival invitational and regular exhibition held at the Yongsan Art Hall exhibition room.
Hosted by the Yongsan Art Association (President Esther Kang) and sponsored by Yongsan District, the Yongsan International Art Festival is an annual cultural event held to support the artistic activities of local artists and create an exchange platform with foreign artists.
This year marks the 18th edition of the exhibition, which held a minimized opening ceremony at 5 p.m. on the 14th and then presented the artworks to the public.
The exhibited works include about 100 pieces by special invitational artists and members of the Yongsan Art Association. The exhibition is composed of ▲Special Invitational Artists Exhibition ▲Foreign Artists Exhibition ▲Member Artists Exhibition.
This exhibition features about 20 works by foreign artists, including American artist Aaron Cossrow, who recently paints portraits of various figures themed on life in Seoul, such as "Fruit Lady."
The Member Artists Exhibition displayed works by members of the Yongsan Art Association.
