Woori Bank Establishes 'MZ Marketing Team' Within Digital Group
Purpose of Discovering New Content and Product Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] Woori Bank announced on the 15th that it has established the ‘MZ Marketing Team’ within the Digital Group to actively communicate with the MZ generation.
The ‘MZ Marketing Team’ is composed entirely of MZ generation members, including a team leader at the manager level. Its main tasks will include discovering new content, developing products, and pursuing various business initiatives such as convergence service partnerships targeting MZ generation customers.
Additionally, Woori Bank’s mobile banking app, Woori Won Banking, will introduce a new main screen called the Fun Type starting in October, reflecting the distinctive characteristics of the MZ generation. Users can customize the background color and images. An event will also be held until the 31st, offering Honey Money rewards to those who change their main screen to the Fun Type.
Furthermore, within this month, the bank plans to add MZ generation-exclusive content such as the ‘My Convenience Store’ service, which delivers convenience store products to customers’ doorsteps, and a dedicated page called ‘Desired LCK’ for fans of the domestic e-sports league, League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK).
