Shinsegae Duty Free, Gift Card Expiration Extended Again... Until August Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 15th that it will once again extend the validity period of its gift cards, which are set to expire this year, until August of next year.
Considering the difficulties in traveling abroad and using duty-free shops due to the impact of COVID-19, Shinsegae Duty Free has been offering validity extensions for gift cards since last year. Shinsegae Duty Free stated, "Taking into account the ongoing restrictions on overseas travel, we have decided to extend the usage period so that customers can enjoy the benefits of the gift cards until August of next year."
The gift card is a physical card with a one-year validity period that can be used at Shinsegae Duty Free's offline stores. If not used within this year, it was originally scheduled to expire on the 31st of this month, but with this measure, it can now be used until August 31 of next year.
