Boseong-gun, Wave of Neighborly Love Donations Continues Through Year-End and New Year
Bosung County Boxing Association, Nonghyup County Branch, and Saenongminhoe Participate
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 14th that sharing activities by local residents for neighbors in need are continuing as the year-end approaches.
The Boseong-gun Boxing Association (President Kim Hwa-ryong) donated 100 bags of 10kg white rice worth 3 million won to be delivered to vulnerable groups in the region, and the Nonghyup Gun Branch (Branch Manager Park Do-jae) and the New Farmers Association (President Park Yang-gyu) donated 180 bags of 10kg white rice worth 5 million won and 150 boxes of dumplings worth 5 million won.
Lee Yong-gu, president of the Boseong Autonomous Crime Prevention Federation, also participated in practicing neighborly love by delivering daily necessities (rice, tissue paper, toilet paper, ramen).
Younghwa Eco Blue Co., Ltd. (CEO Chui An) and Hoecheon-myeon Super Center (CEO Kim Jae-ho) are also scheduled to donate hair care sets, masks, and soy milk sets, respectively.
A military official said, “Although everyone is facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, we deeply appreciate everyone’s participation in practicing warm sharing,” and added, “We will use the donations carefully where help is needed.”
Meanwhile, Boseong-gun is promoting the Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign under the slogan “Sharing, a social vaccine for all” until January 31 next year.
