'Double-Decker Electric Buses' to Run in Uijeongbu's Singok and Millak-dong
Operation of Two Vehicles Starting from Commute Hours on the 15th
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Starting from the 15th, Uijeongbu City will introduce and operate one eco-friendly double-decker electric bus each on Gyeonggi-do public bus routes G6000 and G6100 in Singok-dong and Millak-dong.
According to Uijeongbu City on the 14th, the double-decker electric bus has a total of 70 passenger seats, with 11 seats on the first floor and 59 seats on the second floor.
Compared to the existing single-floor bus (44 seats), the number of seats has increased, allowing more passengers to use it, and it is designed as a low-floor bus to enhance convenience for transportation-vulnerable groups.
In particular, route G6000 has increased the number of buses from 8 to 10 with the introduction of the double-decker bus, reducing the dispatch interval to 10?25 minutes.
The first departure of the double-decker buses is at 7:10 AM for route G6000 and 6:50 AM for route G6100.
