Korea Game Industry Association Launches Android Version of Game Webzine 'DiscoverG' App
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] The Korea Game Industry Association announced on the 13th that it will launch a new Android version application (app) of 'Discover G,' a website featuring experts' stories about games.
The Discover G app has enhanced alarm functions that are difficult to provide on a regular website. Users can set alarms via pop-up, sound, or vibration when new posts are registered. This app is available for free download on the Google Play Store. An iOS version is under consideration for future release.
As a year-end special project, social contribution videos from Nexon Foundation, Smilegate Hope Studio, NC Cultural Foundation, Netmarble Cultural Foundation, and Kakao Games will also be posted. Representatives from each company actively involved in social contribution activities share sincere stories from the field.

Kang Sincheol, chairman of the Korea Game Industry Association, said, "Since its launch, Discover G has expanded the scope of the game image with diverse categories and new topics." He added, "With this app release, we aimed to make various game stories more easily accessible to many people."
