Hamyang-gun, December Regular Automobile Tax Imposed
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongnam Hamyang-gun announced on the 13th that it has imposed 1.217 billion KRW (including local education tax) in regular automobile tax for December.
Automobile tax is a regular tax item imposed twice a year (June and December), and the payment deadline is December 31.
Payment methods include visiting financial institutions or paying at nationwide bank CD/ATM machines using a cash card (bankbook) or credit card without a tax bill.

Jeong Soon-tae, Director of the Finance Department, said, “If the payment deadline is missed, a 3% surcharge will be imposed, and in case of delinquency, property disadvantages such as license plate retention may occur. We will do our best to promote payment so that residents can pay within the deadline.”
