Youth Election Committee of the Democratic Party Adds Experts in Housing, International Solidarity, and Everyday Economy
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] The Democratic Party's 'Dynamite' Youth Election Committee added experts in four fields?youth aging out of care, housing, international solidarity, and everyday economy?on the 12th.
Lee Jae-won (20), appointed as an election committee member in the youth aging out of care (young adults preparing for independence) field, lived in a child group home facility until a few years ago and is currently a sophomore at Kyung Hee University. Im So-ra (37) is an 8-year veteran housing activist and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Education Committee at the Korea Social Housing Association.
International human rights activist Lee Dae-seon (29) serves as the CEO of the Youth Kim Dae-jung Foundation. Everyday economy expert Koo Bon-gi (37) is currently the director of the Koo Bon-gi Everyday Economy Research Institute, named after himself.
The youth election committee also appointed Kang Soo-hoon, former Policy Director of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Party, as an election committee member to lead youth politics and policy. The youth election committee plans to make two to three additional appointments in the future.

The Election Committee's Social Innovation Promotion Team announced plans to implement the 'Everyone's Conversation' campaign, which will allow communication with the public on policy issues. This campaign will run for a total of seven weeks from the 11th of this month until January 28 of next year. Centered on questions for presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, it aims to facilitate conversations without restrictions on time, place, or method.
