Party leader Lee Jun-seok accompanied him on the schedule to support candidate Yoon.
On the evening of the 10th, Yoon began a 1-night, 2-day schedule in Gangwon Province by visiting Gangneung Jungang Market.
Surrounded by a crowd, candidate Yoon raised both hands and said loudly, "Gangneung's grandson has come to Gangneung," adding, "Gangneung's grandson will definitely replace the incompetent and corrupt government." Supporters shouted "Yoon Seok-yeol" and waved placards that read "Eodaeyoon" (Anyway, the president is Yoon Seok-yeol).
Yoon then emphasized, "This street is where my maternal family lived, and this Jungang Market is where my grandmother's shop was when I was young," adding, "It’s the place where I always played as a child."
Whenever Gangneung citizens shouted "Yoon Seok-yeol fighting," the candidate greeted them with "Thank you" and "Hello," waving his hand. He also signed palms, wrists, and papers for some citizens. He took selfies with citizens who asked to take photos.

Before the meeting, Yoon said to the young entrepreneurs, "I want to hear directly from those working on the ground about the difficulties and what the government should do," adding, "Please speak freely."
The young small business owners raised issues such as, "Can you provide at least basic supplies like hand sanitizers and fever checkers during the prolonged COVID-19 situation?" and "You mentioned designating Gangwon as a special economic autonomous region; please give a clear answer to the youth." In response, Yoon said, "Hand sanitizers and fever checkers should be supplied immediately to small businesses," criticizing the current government by saying, "It’s problematic if they have to buy these with their own money." He continued, "Gangwon faces overlapping regulations in security and environmental areas; some lands are regulated by ten different laws," explaining, "The central government’s regulatory authority will be transferred to Gangwon Province so that regulations can be eased from Gangwon’s perspective and they can develop independently." Lee, standing beside him, praised Yoon, saying, "That was a good answer."
After the meeting, Yoon and Lee walked along Anmok Beach Street, greeting Gangneung citizens. Citizens lined up along Anmok Beach shouted, "Stay strong" and "Change the regime." Lee responded with a fist salute as a sign of gratitude. When citizens requested photos, Yoon and Lee took pictures together. During this, Yoon asked Lee, "Have you ever swum at Gyeongpo Beach?" to which Lee replied, "I did when I was young," showing a friendly demeanor.
The final schedule of the day was a meeting with Jeon Jung-hyun and Byun Jeong-woo, who subdued a knife-wielding attacker with their bare hands. Yoon said, "Nowadays, no matter how much you exercised or trained in high school, you can’t catch someone with a knife. Running toward a person with a knife to save the victim is very dangerous and you can get seriously hurt," adding, "That’s how difficult what they did was."
Accompanying Yoon on this Gangneung schedule were Kwon Seong-dong, the secretary-general representing Gangneung as his constituency, as well as lawmakers Yoo Sang-beom and Kim Eun-hye.
