‘Value EAT GO’ is a campaign that Ourhome has been conducting since August to deliver the value of environmental protection to customers through meals that consider health and the environment. Under the slogans ‘Value Your Vegetarian Habit’ and ‘Connecting Value,’ it is creating eco-friendly cafeterias.
On the 8th, Ourhome launched various menus using plant-based alternative meat. The purpose is to respond to the climate crisis and preserve the ecosystem by reducing meat-centered consumption, which is a major cause of greenhouse gas emissions. To allow consumers to have a positive experience with vegetarian food, the taste and texture of alternative meat were emphasized, and all seasonings including sauces excluded meat ingredients.
Representative menus include ▲ Vegan steak set with vegan-only steak sauce ▲ Vegetarian rice cake dumpling soup using dumplings made only with vegetables and vegan soup ▲ Charcoal-grilled vegan tteokgalbi set that preserves the meat juice flavor ▲ Vegetarian dukgaejang that recreates the taste of yukgaejang using soy meat ▲ Vegan chili japchae rice bowl ▲ Mushroom veggie burger.
In the future, Ourhome plans to carry out eco-friendly activities such as developing low-carbon menus at least once a month according to the conditions of group meal service stores, campaigns to reduce leftover food, and expanding eco-friendly containers in line with the purpose of the ‘Value EAT GO’ campaign.
