"Expanding Local Connections" LG HelloVision Establishes Open Studio in Gimhae
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG HelloVision announced on the 10th that it has established a local platform, ‘LG HelloVision Gaya Broadcasting Open Studio.’ This is LG HelloVision’s third studio opening, following Seoul Sangam and Busan.
LG HelloVision plans to operate the studio as a platform to build local communities together with residents. Utilizing the studio, LG HelloVision aims to ▲discover content that promotes local attractions ▲revitalize the local economy ▲strengthen community-focused reporting, thereby solidifying the core role of local channels.
To support local economic revitalization, LG HelloVision will also conduct open studio live commerce. The studio is equipped with large LED signage and equipment optimized for live commerce production, and visitors can observe anytime both inside and outside the studio. The company plans to assist local small business owners and farmers who have wanted to engage in live commerce but faced production difficulties, helping them secure non-face-to-face sales channels.
LG HelloVision’s local channels have been promoting the ‘2021 Local Newsroom Strategy’ by opening studios in Seoul Sangam and Busan. The Gaya open studio will also be utilized to strengthen community-focused reporting. Using the studio’s latest facilities, LG HelloVision will produce ‘Keyword News’ that delivers major local news in an easy and immersive way, and expand appearances of community members through local issue discussion programs such as ‘Hello Issue Talk.’
The open studio will create four major experience service zones: ▲home appliance rental experience ▲Hello TV experience ▲telecommunication fee comparison experience ▲open studio experience, providing customized experiences tailored to different customer types.
