View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National Maritime University (President Han Won-hee) announced on the 9th that it will hold the "Sunset Concert with Local Residents" on the 10th at 4:20 PM in the main auditorium on the first floor of the Future Convergence Building at Mokpo National Maritime University.
This concert was prepared to strictly comply with quarantine rules and allow only a minimal number of attendees, aiming to comfort local residents and students who are experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19 and to share warm affection.
The concert will feature a variety of performances, starting with the Pilgrim Male Choir, followed by singer Kang Tae-kwan, who appeared on Mr. Trot and Pungnyu Daejang, as well as performances by the Mokpo National Maritime University music club "Norae Maeul" and Professor Kim Cheol-woong from Mokpo National University’s Department of Music, showcasing a blend of vocal and traditional Korean music.

This Sunset Concert is one of the various programs through which our university contributes to the local community, providing an opportunity to connect and communicate with local residents. It is expected to contribute to the revitalization of cultural networks through mutual exchange among local artists, despite the difficulties in holding cultural performances due to COVID-19.
