This Year's Most Searched Topic on Google is 'Healing'

On the 8th (local time), Google announced this in its 'Year in Search' report.
The question "Why am I so sad?" increased by 10% compared to last year, becoming the most frequently asked question. Topics such as anxiety, stress, sadness, psychotherapy, and questions like "How to maintain mental health" also saw record-high search volumes.
In the health category, queries like "How to lower blood pressure," "Why am I always tired," and "How many calories should I consume" ranked high.
Regarding COVID-19, vaccines were the top concern. The most asked questions included "Has the vaccine been approved?", "Is the COVID-19 vaccine safe?", "How does the COVID-19 vaccine work?", and "How many types of COVID-19 vaccines are there?"
Additionally, as Korean cultural content flowed into the global market, related search terms also ranked high on Google searches.
Many K-pop stars, including Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS), incorporated sign language into their dances, and searches for the sign language meaning "Love You" reached an all-time high this year.
Among the nominees during the Academy Awards ceremony, the most searched movie in the United States was "Minari."
