Jangseong-gun to Recruit 37 Participants for Next Year's Disabled Employment Program
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) announced on the 9th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2022 Disabled Persons Job Project’ until the 17th.
The number of recruits is a total of 37 people: 7 full-time, 5 part-time, and 25 welfare-type positions.
Eligible participants are unemployed persons with disabilities aged 18 or older registered under the Disabled Welfare Act residing in the county. Those participating in other financially supported jobs or enrolled in workplace health insurance are excluded.
Residents wishing to participate must submit the application form and other required documents to the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center or the Resident Welfare Division of the county office by the 17th.
The county will select participants through document screening and interviews.
Selected participants will perform administrative (facility) work assistance, environmental maintenance, and other tasks at Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers and welfare facilities throughout the next year.
A county official said, “We hope that providing jobs will expand social participation for persons with disabilities and offer opportunities for stable income security,” and added, “We ask for much interest and participation.”
