[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 8th that it was selected as an excellent institution for two consecutive years as the only one in Jeollanam-do in the 'Public Service Ethics System Operation Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Personnel Management.
In July, 24 institutions nationwide, including Suncheon City, were selected as excellent institutions in the operation of the public service ethics system after evaluating 25 items in 9 areas such as compliance with the Public Service Ethics Act, property registration, disclosure, review, employment, and conduct restrictions for 286 institutions including metropolitan and basic local governments, and city/provincial offices of education.
Suncheon City conducts its own training every year for those obligated to register property to encourage sincere reporting, and received favorable evaluations for exemplary operation of the public service ethics system through strict property reviews.
