[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 7th that it will break ground on the long-awaited 'Jangyu Passenger Terminal Construction Project' by Jangyu residents on the 8th.
The Jangyu Passenger Terminal is a private development project, with Samho DNT Co., Ltd. investing 84 billion KRW to complete the terminal and complex shopping mall by the end of 2023.
The terminal will have a site area of 3,952㎡ and a total floor area of 4,584㎡, consisting of four floors above ground and one basement level. It will include boarding and alighting areas, 18 berths, a car wash, retail facilities, and resident convenience facilities.

However, once the terminal is completed, it is expected to provide convenient transportation and revitalize the local economy.
