Camerata Jeonnam and Ojakgyo Project Hold 'Year-End Concert'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] Camerata Jeonnam announced on the 7th that it will hold the 9th regular concert "Year-end Concert" at 7:30 PM on the 17th at the Democracy Maru of Chonnam National University.
This performance was produced through the Ojakgyo Project of the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service's Performing Arts Creation Studio.
The program includes a total of seven pieces, starting with a work by composer Jinsu Kim reflecting Korean sentiments, followed by lyrical opera arias such as "Song of the Evening Star" from Wagner's opera Tannh?user, "One Day Looking at the Blue Sky" from Giordano's opera Andrea Ch?nier, five songs including "The Impossible Dream" from the musical Man of La Mancha, and concludes with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, known as the Symphony of Fate.
The Ojakgyo Project by the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service supports collaboration with orchestras to expand opportunities for composers to perform their original works, aiming to establish a stable creative foundation where discovery and performance of new compositions can continue sustainably.
This concert, held to bring together local artists and residents to close the year, features conductor Inwook Park, composer Jinsu Kim, tenor Byunggil Yoon, and baritone Byeongwoo Gong.
