Fruits of Establishing a Cooperative System with Local Constituency Members of the National Assembly
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 7th that the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 2021 special grant fund for resolving pending projects has been confirmed at 3.8 billion KRW.
Accordingly, 15 projects that had been managed as long-standing resident demands are expected to gain momentum, leading to direct changes in residents' lives.
In particular, the major special grant projects for the second half of the year include ▶ Deukryang Neighborhood Living-Type National Sports Center construction (700 million KRW), ▶ Establishment of Boseong-gun snow removal forward base (700 million KRW), ▶ Reconstruction of the aging Dongyuncheon bridge (400 million KRW), ▶ Deployment of Banggunje at Seodang-ri, Hoecheon-myeon (300 million KRW), among others.
Through these, it is expected that the sports and leisure living environment closely related to residents' lives will improve, and safety infrastructure will be further strengthened.
Boseong-gun has been making continuous efforts to secure special grant funds that can increase financial autonomy by establishing an organic cooperative system with Kim Seung-nam, the local district member of the National Assembly.
A Boseong-gun official said, “The projects secured for the second half mainly contribute to the safety and living conditions of the residents. We will continue to build a cooperative system for budget acquisition with the local district member of the National Assembly to unite efforts to resolve residents' long-standing projects.”
