Sunchon National University College of Life Industry Sciences Hosts Symposium on "Understanding Domestic and International Healing Agriculture Situations"
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon National University (President Ko Young-jin) College of Life Industry Science announced on the 6th that it held an international symposium titled "Understanding the Domestic and International Status of Healing Agriculture" in the main conference room of the 70th Anniversary Hall.
The healing agriculture symposium, held for the third time this year, was expanded into an international symposium by inviting local experts from the Netherlands as presenters, following the two previous domestic symposiums.
At the symposium, expert presentations were given on ▲ De Marsen Care Farm in the Netherlands (Wouter Joop, CEO of De Marsen) ▲ Care farming in the Netherlands and its implications for Korea (Jo Ye-won, Director of Bachningen Care Farm Research Institute) ▲ Green prescriptions from agriculture and rural areas: "Healing Agriculture" (Lee Jeong-in, Senior Researcher of the Healing Agriculture Promotion Team at the Rural Development Administration) ▲ Field survey and status of domestic healing agriculture (Kim Byung-il, Director of Hansung Industrial Research Institute).
After the presentations, attendees on-site and Suncheon National University faculty and students connected via ZOOM resolved various questions about healing agriculture through Q&A and comprehensive discussions with the experts, and discussed ways Suncheon National University can contribute to the revitalization of healing agriculture.
