Cuckoo Opens Busan's First Experiential Premium Store 'Haeundae Branch'
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Home appliance company Cuckoo announced on the 6th that it opened its first experiential premium store in Busan, the ‘Cuckoo Haeundae Branch,’ on the 26th of last month.
The Cuckoo Haeundae Branch is located in the Haeundae Centum district, Busan’s largest shopping area, which has high population flow and accessibility. The company explained that this would allow them to broadly expand contact points with consumers not only in Busan but also in nearby areas in the future.
Cuckoo is expanding the opening of experiential stores to provide differentiated shopping experiences tailored to the brand’s characteristics. The premium Cuckoo Haeundae Branch displays the home appliance lineup offered by the company to the fullest extent, broadening the range of product choices. In addition, to target the lifestyle- and trend-sensitive MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), the store selectively exhibits the latest appliances such as food waste disposers, multicookers, and ultra-compact pressure rice cookers. Besides the experiential space inside the store, there is also an area where existing customers using Cuckoo products can receive after-sales service (A/S).
To commemorate the opening of the Haeundae Branch, Cuckoo is running a promotion for visitors until February 6 of next year. Popular models of essential home appliances such as rice cookers, air purifiers, and dishwashers are discounted by up to 61%. Customers planning weddings or moving can receive a 5% discount on their purchase amount and benefits such as gift certificates when purchasing two or more products.
