Wanju County Council Operates Web Space for Communication with Youth

[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] The Wanju County Council (Chairman Kim Jae-cheon) announced on the 3rd that it has created a bulletin board on the Wanju County Council website as a space to listen to the voices of youth and receive their free thoughts, and has begun full-scale operation.

The council operates a ‘Youth Communication (通)’ bulletin board on the website, composed of separate youth communication spaces such as ‘Suggestion Tong (通)’, ‘Free Communication (通)’, and ‘Wish Tong (通)’.

Proposals submitted to Youth Communication (通) will be directly delivered to council members, reviewed legally, and utilized as policies, with plans to engage in communication with the youth.

In addition, the council plans to continue communication through various methods, including the currently operating Wanju County Council Facebook page and the Wanju County Council YouTube channel, which was launched in August and is currently in pilot operation.

On the YouTube channel, videos of existing plenary session materials, on-site footage of administrative audits, meeting schedules, and results are being broadcast.

Chairman Kim Jae-cheon said, “Due to physical time constraints and COVID-19, there have been few opportunities to communicate directly with the youth, so we started communication through the website and SNS channels,” adding, “We will strive to listen to the voices of youth through various methods in the future.”
