Sancheong County and Sancheong Fire Station Join Hands to Establish Disaster Response System
Real-time Video Information Sharing at the CCTV Integrated Control Center
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 3rd, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, and the Sancheong Fire Station signed a video information sharing business agreement to establish a rapid disaster response system.
This agreement was prepared to share real-time video information from the Sancheong-gun CCTV Integrated Control Center for swift fire suppression and rescue operations in the event of a disaster.
With this agreement, the county and the fire station plan to minimize property and human damage in the region by shortening on-site support systems through real-time CCTV monitoring and establishing a close joint response system.
This business agreement was conducted in writing without a separate signing ceremony to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Integrated Control Center, located on the 4th floor of the new county office building, is equipped with an integrated control room for video information processing devices, a conference room, a computer room, and a police officer's office.
To respond quickly to various criminal situations and provide 24/7 real-time monitoring throughout the year, 12 personnel, including dispatched police officers and professional monitoring staff, work in three shifts.
A total of 1,162 devices are integrated and monitored, including 831 security video information processing devices operating throughout the county, 163 installed at elementary schools, and 168 for disaster, illegal parking, and facility management.
