Shinsegae Duty Free, Reacquires Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) Certification
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 3rd that it has received the Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification for the second consecutive time since 2019 through the CCM certification system conducted every two years.
Consumer-Centered Management is a nationally certified system hosted by the Korea Consumer Agency and supervised by the Fair Trade Commission, which evaluates and certifies whether a company organizes all its activities from the consumer's perspective and continuously improves them.
The company stated that despite the prolonged COVID-19 situation making overseas travel and duty-free shopping difficult, the systematic organization of a system enabling all employees to actively participate in and practice customer-centered management was highly evaluated.
It was also explained that regularly conducting emergency response education and training for all employees to prevent consumer safety accidents and raising safety awareness, as well as being the first in the industry to implement eco-friendly packaging materials and moving racks to practice social responsibility activities, had a positive impact on this CCM re-evaluation.
