View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Winia Aid, a comprehensive home appliance distribution and service company, announced on the 3rd that it donated 180,000 Winia KF94 masks to the Community Chest of Korea (Love Fruit) to help overcome COVID-19.
This donation follows an agreement made last September with the Community Chest of Korea for the 'Overcoming COVID-19, Dimchae Good Consumption Campaign,' under which customers who purchase one Dimchae kimchi refrigerator at over 220 Winia Stay specialty stores nationwide agreed to donate five Winia masks.
Over two months, Winia Aid sold 35,800 Dimchae kimchi refrigerators through Winia Stay specialty stores and completed the accumulation of 180,000 Winia masks. The accumulated masks will be delivered to underprivileged groups in need due to COVID-19 through the central office of the Community Chest of Korea.
